When removing a large number of trees, we typically send any merchantable fir logs to a local mill to reduce the cost of the project. This helps offset a portion of our services while also disposing of the hazard trees in a manner that limits handling. When necessary, large trees in difficult areas will be removed with a crane and set directly on our self-loading log truck.
